Is it finished?
Can I relax now?
Can I get back into my steady routine?
I must be turning into a right curmudgeon in my old age!
Or perhaps it is the hormones .... yes let's blame them although that said, I always enter into this period of not quite depression but gloominess at this time of year. I love the lead up to the festive season with the decorations & pretty lights, watching the children in Christmas productions at school, visits to Santa etc etc but always get a deflated feeling after Boxing Day.
So
What is to be done??
Following a swift kick up the derriere I am going to start filling in my 2011 diary .... that's a start isn't it?
I know what you mean ... it's like living in limbo with endless rubbish on TV and nowhere really to go to in the grey miserable weather.
ReplyDeleteRoll on Spring!

Oh what a great diary! I'm feeling a bit blah as well. So looking forward to some brighter weather. Shall we try and get together sometime soon once the routines are all back to normal?
ReplyDeleteI love filling in my new diary, and yours looks like a super pretty one x
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, I know exactly what you mean, all my energy seems to drain away and everything is an effort, I don't really feel like my old self again until the end of February when spring things start to happen, it seems like I could do with a swift kick in the backside too.
ReplyDeleteLove Jillx
What a good idea, the best way to beat the blues is to 'do' something (but easier said than done). I can't wait to take down all the trimmings and let some fresh air into the house - but it is still a little too fresh to fling the windows open at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI am with Jill, I DESPERATELY want to fill the house with fresh air............ Happy New Year, sorry it's a wee bit late to be wishing you it, but the lurgy struck!
ReplyDeleteLove the diary!!! It's my Birthday on Friday, so not looking forward to becoming ** !!! But looking on the bright side I have a day off, and look forward to a day off somewhere!! (Weather permitting!)
ReplyDeleteA great 2011 to you hun, and look forward to meeting up at some time : )

ReplyDeleteSince the snow cleared im just praying for spring, i know its coming but its too slow for my liking, i just want to really be out in the fresh air, theres nothing sparkly inside to keep my attention!!
